Molecule 04 consists of pure and singular javanol. Javanol is a sandalwood-like molecule that retains the shine and strength of natural sandalwood, but is pure and transparent in a way that is unmatched by nature's sandalwood. Created in the Givaudan laboratory in 1996, javanol does not exist in nature. In Molecule 04, javanol exudes clarity and space, providing an immersive experience that stimulates all five senses. "The almost psychedelic freshness of javanol fascinates me. It smells as if the liquid grapefruit peel is poured over a bed of velvety cream-colored roses," says Geza Schoen.
