Molecule 02 is composed exclusively of pure Ambroxane.
Ambroxane is a crystal-chemical structure identical to amber-derived amber. For centuries, amber has been one of the most prized ingredients in perfumery. It is a mysterious substance expelled by the casalot, which develops its fine smell only after a long period of maturation in the ocean.
Nowadays, amber is rare, and the "amber" in modern perfumes is a laboratory-created equivalent of some of the aromatic molecules that compose it. Of these, the most remarkable is the ambroxane identical to the natural one. Ambroxan has always been appreciated for its refinement and sensuality, qualities that persist in its composition.
Ambroxan was isolated from plant sources in 1950.
The maximum percentage of ambroxan that can be dissolved in a fragrance compound is 13.5%. Any higher concentration and it begins to crystallize. Most "amber" perfumes contain between 1-2% Ambroxan.
Molecule 02 consists of 100% ambroxane dissolved in alcohol and a little water. Its fragrance is best described as a smooth, almost mineral freshness that subtly expands to envelop you in olfactory layers of sensual and shimmering molecules.
The Molecule 02 fragrance is radically minimalist. It does not contain any odorants other than the flavor molecule, ambroxane™.
Customers who find Molecule fragrances too discreet may prefer Escentric fragrances, as they always have a stronger presence and a more pronounced aroma.
