Description
The famous perfumer Francis Kurkdjian launched a new fragrance in May 2012: Oud. It is simply named after the precious wood of the same name, and focuses on spectacular, oriental-inspired chords.
Considered a forgotten material, oud wood returns to the Maison Francis Kurkdjian collection through a modern interpretation of ancient Arabic perfumes. Kurkdjian used oud from Laos – one of the purest and most precious sources in the world.
The composition is enriched with woody and spicy notes: cedar, patchouli and saffron – elements that outline a rich and lush character.
