In this fragrance with notes of amber, benzoin, a lush resin, embodies the immense heritage of the house of CARON. With warm and vanilla accents, the fragrance is enveloped by delicious pear notes.
The creamy notes of benzoin melt into a generous and enveloping blend of ingredients that rhyme with the mists of time, frankincense and myrrh, two sacred resins, as well as a luxurious, creamy sandalwood fragrance. Along with them, a string of cheerful fruits, such as blackcurrants, accompany the pear, the entire composition being supported by a delicious Sambac jasmine absolute.
Infini is an ode to modernity, a fragrance of the absolute. To get far, you need to aim further. At CARON, we have pushed the boundaries of Haute Parfumerie, looking towards infinity. We changed patterns and led real revolutions.
Without a healthy dose of extravagance, our founder, Ernest DALTROFF, would never have established CARON as a legend. If he knew. In 1912, his megalomania inspired him to create Infini, a tribute to both his boundless creativity and his unbridled love for Felicie WANPOUILLE.
More than a century later, CARON has not lost its taste for excess. We reinvent the scent of immensity and, along the way, reaffirm the power of this great heritage. Today, as in the past, daring to be exuberant is how we create our perfumes, unlike anyone else.
Did you know? Frankincense, myrrh, benzoin... Infini contains ingredients that have been used since time immemorial. These three resins in particular are found in the most famous recipes for kyphi, the sacred incense that the priests of Ancient Egypt, known to be great perfumers, made and burned in honor of the god Re, four thousand years ago. That's an impressive number, don't you think?
