In the early 1960s, many Americans believed that a golden age would begin. In 1964, President Lyndon B. Johnson followed in the " footsteps " of his predecessor J. F. Kennedy and imposed a Civil Rights Act that prohibited discrimination in public places, prosecuted all discrimination against women and minorities, and promised everyone equal opportunity in the workplace. But these laws did not solve the problems faced by African Americans or women: they did not eliminate racism, sexism, or poverty. There was a need for strong, feminine "voices" in a male-dominated society and in industry. Voices that can address the indefinite misogyny of time. The gospel provided a natural response to the "calling" and the Black Church, the cultivation ground of one of pop's most influential and important voices: Aretha Franklin. He blended evangelical music with the sensuality of R&B, the innovation of jazz and the precision of pop. In 1968 she reigned " throughout America and Europe as the " Queen of Soul Music " and was seen as a powerful symbol of female equality and the development of black people, becoming a source of inspiration through perseverance, strength, and success, both for them and for the female generations.
For Feather Supreme, perfumer Dominique Ropion has created an extremely feminine composition, which makes you think of the elegant and sensual dance of a feather in the air: it opens with notes of mandarin, bergamot and apple, which later reveals a floral, deep "heart", with touches of rose, Ylang-ylang, jasmine and tuberose.
