Since the brand's early years, the Middle East and its images have been a source of inspiration for its creations. Since the 1960s, the founders of Diptyque have traveled the roads of this region, exploring its fascinating landscapes.
Eau Rihla evokes these expeditions, inspiring a fragrance designed as a chronicle of a long journey, where the skin, in all its splendor, metamorphoses throughout the composition. Initially, the liveliness of pink pepper and woody notes of Atlas cedar make up a vibrant accord. Then, as iris, vanilla and saffron make their presence felt, the fragrance becomes warmer, softer, embracing the comfort of a second skin.
Rihla means "journey" in Arabic. It is a journey whose fragrance instantly refreshes the memory of other horizons full of inspiration and fascination.
A touch of leather has been specially created for Diptyque to enhance the composition of Eau Rihla. This natural leather-flavored ingredient was extracted from Chinese cedarwood. It is a "vegetable" skin with an evocative fragrance.
