But the invitation is not to remain anchored in that day, but to reveal the true essence of the world. Filippo Sorcinelli, famous as the "tailor of the popes", captured three key moments in this perfume extract: the start of the fire, the water on the stones and the essence that persists. Notre-Dame Cathedral is a world symbol of spirituality, visited by millions of people. Filippo had the privilege of accessing places forbidden to tourism, capturing images, smells and unexpected values. But what is the essence of the Cathedral? We might think it's just a strong smell of incense. Totally wrong! Today, Notre-Dame carries the smell of the smoke that marked history, of the water that trickles over the stones, that descends next to the organ. It's the ray of light that pierces the vaults into the empty sky. It is the smell of uninterrupted life, of the unspoiled soul, of the Cross of flowing gold. It is the truth that triumphs.
