1A-33 is the first modern reinterpretation and one of the most successful fragrances of the house of J.F. Schwarzlose Berlin.
In the 1950s, it was the Berlin brand's best-selling perfume for decades, along with a wide range of soaps and powders bearing the same name.
Its extraordinary olfactory formula impresses even today with the middle notes of linden flowers, magnolia and jasmine, complemented by the fresh accents of mandarin and pink pepper in the opening.
The linden flower extract symbolizes the famous "Berliner Luft" – the air of Berlin – that blows along the Unter den Linden boulevard.
The name of the perfume itself reflects the spirit of the city: "1A" was the indicative of Berlin's old license plates, and "33" designated the address of the factory in the Moabit district.
With the relaunch of the brand in 2012, the 1A-33 was one of the first creations brought back to the market.
Today, the J.F. Schwarzlose Berlin offices are once again in Moabit, and this fresh floral fragrance continues the beautiful tradition of the house, carrying on the authentic essence of Berlin.
