In the middle of summer, in Greece, "to get to the sea," Yves Coueslant recalls, "you have to go through a fig orchard."
Returning to Paris, Desmond Knox-Leet brought a few fig leaves in a box. Years later, these leaves had not yet lost their flavor.
Philosykos, which in Greek means "friend of the fig tree", is an ode dedicated to the fig tree: the green, fresh notes of the leaves, the sun-warmed wood and the milky flavor of the fruit.
Upon contact with water, Philosykos hand and body gel turns into a lightweight, silky foam. It combines the green freshness of fig leaves and the density of white wood with the milky flavor of figs.
