Tales of Amber is a modern ambergris fragrance that reimagines the primordial beauty of nature. Combining rare New Zealand ambergris with the famous De Laire Amber 83 accord – a rich fusion of labdanum and vanillin – this fragrance extract captures balsamic warmth, textured contrast and sensual depth.
At its heart, Australian agarwood, orange blossom and iris bring a floral softness over a background of sun-warmed earth and mineral notes of leather. The accents of cinnamon and oud are intertwined in the composition, adding a spicy and resinous side to the amber-woody soul.
Created by Goldfield & Banks founder Dimitri Weber in collaboration with French perfumer Suzy Le Helley, Tales of Amber balances innovation with tradition, drawing inspiration from the mystery of the ocean and Australia's wild botany. As the fragrance evolves, the gourmet glow of the Amber 83 accord deepens – its creamy sweetness contrasting with the animal and oceanic intrigues of ambergris.
