Description
Nosy Be or Nossi-Be is an island that broke off from the northwest coast of the island of Madagascar. In Malaysian "Nosy Be" means the big island, but it is much better known due to the name of "Nosy Manitra" - "Fragrant Island", due to the intense scents that define the air wherever you go on its territory. Exotic plants such as Ylang-ylang, Vanilla, Coffee, Cocoa, Pepper, Geranium, Cinnamon and Frangipani are found in abundance and are the dream of any perfumer.
The essential oil obtained from the leaves of Patchouli grown in Nosy Be is of exceptional quality. The green and camphor notes are much less present, while the woody and cocoa-flavored ones are highlighted in the quality of this Patchouli extract. Robertet has awarded the Perris brand as a world premiere for the creation of this exceptional precious ingredient. In honor of this privilege, Patchouli Nosy Be was created to highlight the unique characteristics of the extracts. The combination of woody notes of cedar, sandalwood, bitter cocoa, labdanum and exotic vanilla resulted in a warm fragrance that envelops and lingers intensely.
