The strength and fragility of the daffodil, a fragrance between shadows and light. Perfumer Marie Hugentobler selects the exceptional daffodil that grows in the French Aubrac mountains. Almost 1,600 kilograms of these wild flowers, collected by local growers, are needed to produce one kilogram of daffodil absolute, with its strong and delicate floral facets. In NARCISSE TAIJI, the perfumer highlights the opposing forces in this precious and multifaceted flower. To the bright and vegetal side of the freshly picked flower, the perfumer opposes the dark and animalistic side of the daffodil, enhanced by accents of leather and patchouli. A perfect, surprising and sensual balance.
