"The story of the Sacred Band immediately reminded me of the 300 Spartans: brothers in arms, united by courage and desire. I wanted to capture the contrast between metal and skin. A luminous aldehydic note reflects the shine of armour at dusk, while lavender and artemisia evoke the scent of wild herbs brightened by bergamot. Then warmth emerges through deep musks, creamy sandalwood and ambery tonka bean, creating a signature that is heroic, powerful and deeply sensual.
