Description
The inspiration for this fragrance comes from combining the notes of crushed rose petals and blackcurrants in an English garden. At the beginning of Diptyque's history, the boutique on Saint-Germain Avenue offered real handicrafts: enchanting objects, three eau de toilette, scented candles, pots - pourri, generally made on the basis of British tradition by a friend of the founders of the campaign, Dido Merwin. Dido was delighted with the combination of blackcurrant and rose scents and inspired Desmond Knox-leet's impulse to use this combination of plants, petals, essences and magical powders in a chic and original fragrance.
