Distant legends said that on their voyages, the Phoenicians and Aegean ships were attracted to an island shrouded in purple. The lush vegetation of this island contained an unknown fruit, full of strong new flavors. The abundance of the juice of this fruit colored the rocks and gave the crustaceans the support they needed to populate the shores of this island. The mysterious nectar with reddish purple touches was used to color and perfume rare and precious materials reserved for the gods.
