Fleur de Peau is a creation centered around one of the "iconic materials" belonging to the 60s: musk. The idea of this eau de parfum was to "touch" an aroma as close as possible to that of the skin, by combining notes of musk with dense touches of iris, which has a "woody" facet.
From "psychedelia" to "phyche" and the myth of Psyche & Eros:
Phyche was the youngest and most beautiful daughter of some kings. She was so beautiful that her admirers preferred to worship her instead of the goddess of beauty, Aphrodite. The latter sent her son, Eros (Cupid), to make Psyche fall in love with an ugly man, but instead, the god fell in love with the beautiful girl. He visits her every night, forbidding her to look at him. One evening, he lights a lamp to see him, and a drop of oil runs down Eros' face, who wakes up and leaves. Looking for Eros, Psyche ends up in the service of Aphrodite, who subjects her to impossible tasks, which help her fulfill her dream: she marries Eros, becoming the Goddess of the Soul.
The "heart" of the Fleur de Peau composition is highlighted by the notes of musk, light as cotton, followed by powdery touches of iris and ambretta leaves.
