Paris 1961... United by passion and creativity, three artisans become friends and partners, opening a store with avant-garde clothing creations on 34 Saint Germain Avenue. In 1963 he launched the first scented candle, and in 1968 the first perfume. Today, all three are recognized and appreciated for creating a famous house of perfumes, scented candles and room scents: Diptyque.

Starting with the first eau de toilette, L'Eau, diptyque, celebrates the idea of supreme, uncompromising luxury that can be felt intuitively.
