Description
A composition around a lesser-known plant musk: the multifaceted ambretta. Ambreta seeds are harvested by hand from small plots scattered in the dry rainforests of northern Peru. Dried in the sun, sifted, cleaned and aired, they finally release floral and powdery accents, along with notes of musk and amber. Here, perfumer Marie Hugentobler chooses to fully express these rich and complex facets. Following the clear and bright opening of mandarin and angelica, the sensual and slightly carnal notes of ambrete unfold and settle with restraint and elegance in a base of sandalwood and ambroxan. BOIS D’AMBRETTE is a fragrance that leaves an innocent fragrance on the skin.
