Description
A perfect accord that expresses the sensual facets of the iris. The roots of the iris plant are peeled by hand, washed, air-dried, and finally, after a long period of storage, distilled. It takes over six years to produce the absolute, which makes iris one of the most precious raw materials in perfumery. Its delicate and powdery fragrance evokes shades of violet, mimosa and carrot, with accents of butter and wood. Here, perfumer Marie Hugentobler chooses an exceptional natural iris from the dry valley of Atlasului.In Iris EbÃ̈ne, she creates a contrasting composition in which the iris reveals its dark and sensual side, mixed with woods, balms and musk. A soft and textured skin unfolds slowly, leaving a captivating trace, as comfortable as a cashmere sweater.
